What is a Tinea?

Ringworm is not caused by a worm, in spite of the name. It is caused by a fungus which feeds of keratin in the surface of the skin. It is highly contagious and can obtain it from people and pets in different ways. The most common method of acquisition is physical contact with the infected person or animal. During ten days, the
